Free parking is literally just a few minutes’ walk away.

Well this is going to be an exceptional night for Banbury Soul Club.
Banbury Soul Club celebrates its 11th Anniversary.
A unique achievement in these days of a saturated market place.
And to thank everyone who has supported us over the years we have managed to obtain the services of one of the top UK DJ’s, collector and record dealer.
None other than John Manship has kindly agreed to come and help us celebrate our special occasion.
John should need no introduction.
An acknowledged world expert on Rare Soul and a collection that can provide classic oldies to rare one offs.
John will be entertaining the dance floor with some quality tunes during the night.
With his extensive knowledge and experience behind the decks this will be a very special night.
In summary this genuinely will be a “something for everyone” evening.
So make sure you come along and enjoy a superb night’s entertainment for only £5.
The guest DJ will be supported by the Club residents, all long term collectors.
Charlie, Steve and Tom playing their own selections of danceable soul music to guarantee a brilliant night.

Please respect their policy as we don't want to lose this venue after waiting years to obtain it.

And I hope the attached picture shows it is a highly polished dance floor so talc shouldn't really be required.
Anyway we all hope to see you all on Saturday 29th November.

Well folks, fast approaching our 11th Anniversary on Saturday 29th November.  As you probably already read, John Manship will be gracing the decks for us as our Guest DJ.

Really pleased to have John with us, to help celebrate our 11th Anniversary!

The venue has a large sprung wooden dance floor, fully loaded bar, free parking and really a really friendly atmosphere.  And of course some great Soul played, Banbury style.

Looking forward to seeing you on the night.

Keep it Soulful, keep it danceable

Just over a week to go until Banbury Soul Club's 11th anniversary.

With all the records at John's disposal it should be a belter.

Definitely Wall of Fame rather than Wall of Shame, for those that have been to the Cleethorpes weekender.  -:)

Wonder if he will bring Darrell with him?

Thanx to everyone who turned up at our 11th Anniversary last night.

Great crowd and great music.  Guest DJ and old friend of BSC, John Manship did not disappoint.

Two great sets.  The first being rare underplayed 45's like William Cummings and The Webs on Dynamic.

Later one was dance floor friendly but still with some really nice rare and different 45's

John sold out of his latest price guide in about 20 mins.   "Should have brought a boot full John !"

New faces in again from people prepared to get in a car and travel to something out of town.

Really looking forward to our next "do" in the New Year on Saturday 3rd January 2015.

PLEASE NOTE at our new venue The Trades and Labour Club, Banbury.  OX16 9RR.

More details to follow on this shortly.  Keep watching/looking @ S.S. Events for full info.

Cheers.....................            Tom.

Well done fellas on a fantastic run of 11 years, and a great celebration of Soul on the night. John Manship's two sets were great, the first pretty much flawless!

Thank you everybody who helped us celebrate our "11th" year.  Great turnout - despite some treacherous foggy weather around the area!

Two great sets by our Guest DJ - John Manship.  The crowd really enjoyed the sets.  As did us fellow DJ's!

In the Soul scene, in which there's a hell of a lot on - we're quite proud of the fact that we are still bringing in top DJ's and record collectors down here in Banbury.

Things happening with the Club next year, follow Soul Source to see.  Once again, thank you all.  Have a good Christmas and hope to see you in the New Year.

Keep it Soulful, keep it danceable!
