THE TWISTED WHEEL RADIO SHOW ON MANCHESTER 106.6fm LAST NIGHT (18th).

I APOLOGIZE TO EVERYBODY WHO TRIED TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO SHOW LAST NIGHT!! ON THE INTERNET, THE INTERNET STREAMER WAS DOWN!!! AGAIN ?? AND SADLY IT WILL NOT BE GOING OUT ON LISTEN AGAIN.

I WAS REALLY GUTTED FOR MY STUDIO GUEST ANDY SCOFFIN WHO HAD TRAVELED FROM CREWE TO BE A GUEST ON THE SHOW AND IT DIDN'T GO OUT ON THE NET!!! AND IT WAS A PITY BECAUSE ANDY DID A GREAT JOB AND PLAYED SOME GREAT RECORDS!!

THANKS TO ALL THE LISTENERS WHO PHONED IN TO THE STUDIO AND TOLD US THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM, BUT IT WAS GOING OUT ON 106.6fm OK.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND CAN I WISH YOU,  ALL THE VERY BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR .... 2014 

Well what a year the Twisted Wheel Club as had!! .... You couldn't have written the Script.

The 30th of December last year (2012) was the last time we did a Soul Session at 6 Whitworth Street. And very sadly it closed its doors to one of the most Legendary 60's SOUL CLUBS EVER!!

To be demolished to make way for yet another MANCHESTER HOTEL ....???????

I moved the Club to NQ live on TIB Street, in the Northern Quarter in January 2013 and very sadly on Saturday 13th of July the Club was destroyed by a fire !!  And Stephen Hunt a Brave Firefighter died tackling the blaze.

Sunday 14th of July - the Wheel moves again ( in just 2 hours ) to a new address on Princess Street with an unbelievable attendance of over 300 people who came, and I was told that more were looking for the new Club!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the 1000's of people whom I have met and have supported the TWISTED WHEEL CLUB over the last 13 FANTASTIC YEARS!!

A BIG THANKS ALSO MUST GO TO JOHN GREEN, JOCK HERON AND TO ALL THE GUEST DJ's WHO HAVE MADE THE WHEEL WHAT IT IS! .....

A UNIQUE FANTASTIC BASEMENT CLUB WITH AN ATMOSPHERE THAT NOBODY CAN REPLICATE!

WELL WHAT A FANTASTIC AFTERNOON THE HARDEST THING WAS WHICH ROOM TO BE IN AS BOTH ROOM PLAYED GREAT TUNES PLACE WAS PACKED TO THE RAFTERS WELL DONE TO ALL WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN THE WHEEL GOES ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THANKS KTF

What a great day it was yesterday. What a fabulous venue this is. Still buzzing : ) 

Fantastic,,,!  Best Wheel for ages for me!

I do hope the second room stays as it is,,, that is,, a little different from the main room,,, 2nd room was cookin on gas yesterday!
