Quite a gathering of the old soul @the Ooze crew, back in 97 Mark G. did a great modern and 7ts set and the guys from Lowton picked him up for the modern room at Lowton, there are no rooms available on this event as the International Blues Fest takes place this weekend and the artists stay at the Old Stone Trough, we will of course invite them to chill out out with us, Ihope we get a good crowd for this one as we would like to keep this going, so far good response from Derek at Greenlands and Jem from Leyland both travelling with friends, thanks for your support for something different, Roman

I totally agree with every word there Pauly.......I never post on this site after an event I prefer to just read what everyone else has to say but following such an awesome evening I have to make an exception!!!! It was just awesome ......brilliant music as ever but just as people make the world go round it was the lovely crowd there who made it very special. Lots of DJs there who weren't on the decks but were paying respect to their colleagues who were......I found that very humbling.....true gentlemen ....unlike some of the comments I hear and read about from some of the Northern nights. Respect and total thanks as ever to Roman and Wendy......what would we do without you?!

Thanks for the nice comments,we enjoyed it as much as anything we have ever done, thanks to all the travelling folks, nice to see Andy Lett, Jim Hargreaves and Paul "on the scene", Gibby, Tash, Phil n Bill, Julia and Andre, Dave Taylor and Louise,Jem and Elaine, top music from all and especially pleased at the reception Mark G. We had Chris Farlowe up for his lifetime acheivement award at the Blues Festival and he was our honoured guest and he was touched at the applause he recieved as we stopped the music, had a good chat about the Wheel and King Mojo days, lovely geezer, so its down to Neils old place at the White Bull in Gisburn on October 6th, more on that later, but i can tell you the landlord was a doorman at the Gt. Yarmouth weekenders (Sullivan) and is happy to support soul at this venue, then we have some decisions to make as to wether we use both venues or not, ( we will still be once avery two months) thanks again Roman and Wendy
