Brings back some memories Mick, when I scored the only and only time against Gillingham when playing for Cambridge. My pal Dion Dublin was about to move to Man Utd, the rest is history, remember having a drink with him at Ronelles club in Cambridge. Remember playing in a charity game against the Arsenal boys and Phil Fearinvwhi did his trademark back flip on the pitch afterwards! But I soon dropped down then the leagues quickly ended up playing sat local leagues for fun, training on parkers piece tues nites, used to go to Howard Mallett soul club fri notes and Frames Soul Club happy days! Team for Libs so far is Lait, Hucknall, Marshy, Clements, one more needed for five-a-side! We'll discuss the selections vinyl and football tonight over a pint or two and great soul tunes down at the Libs! Atb & Ktf. Mick

I was the same. I was playing for Bl*ckburn B*ys Club in Rotherham unregistered in place of the registered player who-(so I heard)-had sadly passed away that season. The manager kept shouting the guys name and instructions from the sidelines. These instructions were ignored by me of course until finally I caught on to who the guy was shouting at!!  Who?  Me?
