Really want to get to this...haven't been out for ages..family probs and 2 new dogs that have wrecked my joints on 'walkies' so may have to do the 'statue' dance if I manage to get..Alway's an enjoyable night at Grosvenor and no silly politics

popped along to the Grosvenor last night to support carl piper, I must say in the past been slightly disappointed in robs sets and have let it be known on here. Well I most certainly had to eat my words last night rob did a superb warm up set,massive credit to him,played some stonking oldies well done mate gr8 set.Carl and doug took over after that, between them continued to follow in robs footsteps. To say scarborough was on last night a  healthy crowd came to support the venue, excellent night Grosvenor team .... ktf tommo.

A venue that never disappoints, can be relied upon to start your engines and keep them going all night. A staple that should not be missed like eggs n bacon. A credit to the Nottingham Soul scene.  

YEP,A GREAT NIGHT AND TURN OUT TO SAY THERE WAS A WEEKENDER ON,MORE AND MORE OF THE SOUL FAMILY ARE GOING BACK TO DIFFRENT VENUES FRI AND SAT NIGHTS ,ITS CHEAPER.ROB PLAYED SOME CRACKERS AS TOMMO HAS ALREADY SAID,AND DOUGIE WHO WE HAVE FOLLOWED SINCE THE 8 BELLS WHAT CAN YOU SAY ,MAGIC,THANKS FOR THE INVITE MARK ,ROB ,I REALLY ENJOYED MYSELF,SMILING ALL NIGHT WITH THE REST OF THE SOUL FAMILY,KTF,CARL

What a great night last night and its all because of you Many thanks to Tommo for his kind words, I have tried to change from the same old same old and it seems I may have cracked it Thank you. What can I say? Me first then the magical Dougy Hall, then the one and ONLY Carl Piper ( Legend ) and once again Douggy to finish. In my opinion considering we were up against the Scarborough weekender due to the amazing Dj's and fantastic crowd we had a FANTASTIC night  Also a great deal of thanks to Gaz for the Motown room as he did most of the night by himself with me having a go for a bit to give him a break.

already looking forward to the Christmas bash and Mr Ian Gee, REMEMBER we couldn't do it without you, and we hope that any of our regulars who attended the Scarborough weekender that they had as good a time as we did
