tavistock is easy to get to, devon cornwall border, the tavy club is smack in the middle of town, a small car park opposite, and several others within a minutes walk.

Its great - Devon and Cornwall is getting pretty lively- This new night in Tavistock which could be a regular event if it gets a bit of a crowd going. This first

one is testing the water ...Then there's  the second Penzance Soul Night on December 7th at the Bath Inn, the next, now well-established, Plymouths Too

Darn Soulful Night on Saturday 14th December at the Parkway Club , Plymouth AND talk of another night getting underway at the Griffin, Newquay next

year (watch the Grooves Own page on Facebook for details)

Plus the Soulvation Westward Ho! weekender next spring - It's a brilliant time to be living in Cornwall/Devon if you want to go a-soulin'

The Saturday Review

Well we had a small but vocal bunch of lovely people, played great tunes and had a really good night - As everyone agreed, it really is a nice little venue and we're looking to do another in the New Year, building on the happy warm vibe of this one...Thanks very much to those of you who turned out on a chilly night from Plymouth and the Kernow Soul Club- it was happy little soul family outing - Can't wait for the Bath Inn Soul Night on the 7th in Penzance and the Plymouth's Too Darn Soulful Christmas Special on the 14th December - See you there !!
