Had a good night, and loved Matt's spot in the second room, some great tunes spun Matt Sneath! Damn hot in there though as usual, radiators were on and the kitchen heat too, came out bright red! Left at 5 am like a lightweight but had an excuse...started work at 7am and now at 8.38am, starting to think I'm a very silly girl

Big thanks to Chris and Marcelle, for putting on one of the icons of modern day nighters. The weather certainly took its toll on attendances but enough brave souls made it to make a good night. Only stayed a few hours,It was the first of four nights out on the run. Need to pace myself these days. Steve

An excellent niter, warm welcome from Marcelle and Denise started it off just right; I suspect they kept the guys behind the decks organised because they informed me on my arrival that 3 of the DJ's hwere unable to get there because of the weather.

A few replacement DJ's were dradted or resheduled on the original play times and all of them delivered in the main room, I cant comment on the other rooms because I had little need to venture there as I was properly entertained where I was. I'm sorry that I missed Wigan Paul in one of the side rooms cos I was told he played a blinder. Bob played loads of requests and kept the dance floor busy as usual

A couple of sets in main room worthy of a mention from Baz and Dick Crop that particulrly appealled to my oldies taste.

My aged frame was the only down side because I couldn't keep up the pace to the very end and left about 3.30, I knew I should have had an afternoon snooze beforehand. Lesson noted for the next niter at Radcliffe.

Congratulations to all organisers and DJ's for a job well done.

I can rest my dogs for a few hours before another battering tonight.

One of my favourite nights on the soul calendar is Boxing Night at Radcliffe, have to say i thought there would have been more in due to the lovely gesture from Chris & Marcelle to allow all those that got tickets for The Four Perfections free entry! I guess the weather had a lot to do with that? Added bonus for me was Paul Shirley was on in the middle room. You were informed correctly Mellorful.......he certainly did play a blinder.....always does. Great atmosphere, superb music (especially in the middle room). Already looking forward to the next one.
