SATURDAY 13th SEPTEMBER 2014
with resident DJs
SUGAR MERCHANT & PAUL WELSBY
September sees a new and improved Nu Beat heading your way. The location is the same and the music policy is the same...The difference is we are hosting an additional afternoon event.
The FREE afternoon session runs from noon until 5pm and we will have open deck DJ spots, stalls and food. This should hopefully get everyone in the mood for the big Club night.
Running from 9pm to 2am, The Nu Beat Club is pleased to have special guest DJ's Phil Bush and Brian "45" Phillips.
Phil is one of the best and most popular DJs on the Skinhead scene and is owner/operator of Sounds And Pressure - the mightiest sound system around. If you've heard Phil DJ you know the quality to expect and if you haven't be prepared to dance yourself to a frenzy.
What is there to say about Brian "45" Phillips ? ....Legend of The Twisted Wheel will do. If there is a popular rare Club or Northern Soul record that was discovered at the Twisted Wheel and beyond, you can bet your life savings that it came via Brian "45". The 60s soul scene wouldn't be what it was without Brian's input.
