The State We're In - Summer Special on

Event Information

The State We're In is back! Get your glad rags on and come and join us for a bit of balmy fun in NW1.

This summer special takes on a new look with regular organisers Rich and Phil away on well-earned breaks.

We're very pleased to announce that your special guests spinners on the night will be Ryan Brown of Ham Yard fame and one of the coolest cats around, as well as birthday boy Sean Towers with his expansive record collection, encyclopaedic soul knowledge and top taste to go with it.

Regulars Ben, Simon and Santi will also be in providing the tunes either side of the guests.

All on original vinyl only, of course.

Great crowd, great drinks, great music, what more could you want on a Friday night?

Hope to see you there!

TSWI.

I wasn't sure what this was going to be like but I enjoyed it. Good mix of sounds, as Dave said not a top 100 type event. And one DJ (sorry don't know his name) played some old Mod favourites from my dim and distant youth: Daddy Rolling Stone, Boom Boom, Watch Your Step, Harlem Shuffle, So Far Away. I know I've got them all but good to hear them out in a club, they still sound good to me. Will try and get to this in future.
