Event Information

Hi All,

I am pleased to announce that this months guest DJ is non other than our old friend John Mitchell.

Many of you may know John from his old venue, The Rat Pit in Stockport or from the many venues he's played as a guest DJ.

John has had a bit of a Sabbatical from the scene but has recently been venturing down to our other venue, The Mowbray Arms for our "Back to the Youth Club" nights every Thursday, so we are delighted that he has agreed to make a "return" at the Carlton Club.

One of my mentors, John knows his onions and has a collection that most would envy so we can expect some quality tuneage.

John follows an impressive list of recent guests, including "Diamond" Des Jones, Steve Hay, Andy McCabe and last month, The Willingham Collective.

Vance, Linda, Andy and yours truly will as usual be filling the resident spots at this cracking little venue.

As always we're on from 8pm until 2am ( bar open until 1am) and entry is £4 on the door. No entry after 11pm.

Good dance floor, cheap bar (Sam Smiths) and great company.

The Carlton Club is on Bury Old Road on the main route from Manchester to Prestwich, (135 Bus Service) and just 5 minutes walk from Heaton Park Metrolink Station.

So if your not busy elsewhere this Bank Holiday why not come and join us, be great to see you.

Hi All,

I'm really looking forward to welcoming John Mitchell on his return to the decks after a bit of a lay off and spinning a few myself, got a couple of new purchases that I've not played at The Carlton yet, I hope you'll enjoy them.

If you can't make it then I hope to see you at The Printworks on Sunday for the Christie's Alldayer, should be a belter, or maybe at Bowlers Allnighter next week.

Whatever you do, have a gudun, KTF & KOKO, Shed.

Just finished my contract at work, so now looking for work for the first time in 30 years.

However I can't think of a better place to be, in the company of other soulies, with a cheap bar and listening to great music like this - ktf Vance
