Introducing the dj's:
Ada Loveshake got her name from loving milkshakes when she was a teenie. Milk is the perfect ingredient for swiss cheese and love is the perfect ingredient for the swiss soul weekender. 
She started deejaying in the mid 90s at tupperware and stag parties but has been growing deeply into soul and rare soul for about 15 years now. Since 2010 She is a part of the all female deejay collective 45° Degrees Soul Club Hamburg with a regular nighter at Molotow Club Hamburg. She also deejayed at events such as Hamburg Soul Weekender, Movin' On Barcelona, For Dancers Only Hamburg, Motte Allnighter Hamburg and Upon My Soul Dresden. 
She loves and plays all styles of soulful music, 60s as well as 70s and a bit of 80s and contemporary recordings -as long as a tune gets her it needs a place in the box !!!

Next up we would like to introduce a true family member of the Swiss Soul Club! Davide Borello from Milano is the youngest lad of the crew. His name "Borello" has nothing to do with "bore" in any way. His heart is full of passion and when i say full i really mean its jamned of passion! He has lots of love to give and invests every free moment in diggin' for records that let his feelings escalate! He is doing this since 2010 and since he got into this genre he discovered a new musical dimension for himself and enjoys to meet a bouquet of new people he's never think of getting in touch with. When you talk to him you will that he is like a chameleon, perfect cockney accent - no problem, talking german - why not?, saying a fluffy Gruezi - easy bro. Music wise talking, expect anything spanning from funk to modern/disco soul, with a tip of the cap to indie/little budget productions and sweet/deep territory too. If you want an extra bite of the cake, don't forget he co-runs Milan based nighter 'Santeria Soul Alldayer', whilst going solo on 'Slow Sundays' radio show. All bases covered, get up to bat, eyes down on the ball! A few 7'' He'll probably be dropping the needle on along the weekender are:

OK People. Get ready for Diggin Dave. He's the man. But only perfect with his lovely girl Klaartje … and when he is able to play bicyclerace on a computer as much as he can. When I first saw the amazing sales lists from Diggin Dave on Soul-Source I thought he is an older cool good looking black guy cause of his Profilepic. First time I saw him in reality was a bit sobering cause he is young, white and good looking. After a little chit-chat emotions ran free and there was time for love. What a great guy! Now to something completely different, the records: when he moved to Ghent to study he passed a record store, was mysteriously drawn in and was immediately hooked. So badly in fact that he had to start selling some records to fund his expensive habit. 

He likes all music styles from delta blues to ghetto tech and within the broad soul spectrum. He tries to find the good things in all genres instead of specialising in one thing. He tries to make it as fluent as possible but there might be some Boogaloo, Funk, Latin, Modern, Crossover, Disco, Northern and everything in between.He doesn't care too much about rarity, as long as it gets the feet moving he's a happy man. To get him really excited just give him a Julientje (with a Glennie burger on the side)….

I think nearly everybody bought records from him in the past but not many saw him djing although he already played at Bilbao Weekender, Filthy Soul, Movin On, some local things and of course our own Sweet! allayer.
