Great to be doing this again Kev.

having played here and come along as a punter I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I've heard some great stuff at recent events.

Hello everyone,

If you fancy a rather pleasant afternoon, socialising with like-minded souls, drinking real ale ( there's bloody loads of them too!) and possibly indulging in a Sunday roast dinner (12pm - 4pm), then you know where you oughtta be..... things crank up from around 1pm 'ish and run thru to 8pm 'ish and of course, it's free to get in.
Music policy will be all things soulful, with a little bit of everything ..... but not too much of any one thing .... at any one time!

Regulars .... Rob Kay, Dave Lucas, Kev Rodgers and DenMac .... will be joined by this time's guests, local DJ's, collecters and all-round nice guys...Andy Mac and Mick Brown ........and remember to bring a pencil and some paper ...... you'll be writing down a few of the tunes that these guys will play.

So, we'd like for you to join us for some soulful ear and foot refreshment in the very comfortable surroundings of Mr Grundy's ..... which happens to have it's own brewery on-site .... and if you don't fancy the chef-prepared Sunday Lunch, there's baguettes, chips and a range of other foods available too.

Cheers, Kev

Just sat after tea .... chilling with a glass of Shiraz, Radio 2 with Desmond Carrington, is escaping from the radio in the corner ( I am 60!!) .... with tonight's theme being "Family" and it reminded me of this rather lovely tune ....
