Looking forward to my first visit in 3 years to the legend that is the 100 Club.

Really looking forward to this as I've not been anywhere outstanding for a while. Been a bit under the weather, so I do need my fix of soul music. And where could be better than enjoying the music I love with my friends at the heart of soul in London?

This could be my last one for a little while so coming out to celebrate my birthday a week early.

Was it my imagination or did I hear of a warm-up do around the corner in Hanway St ?  Either that or the Green Man in Berwick St.

In our region, for generations now, Irma Thomas performs live... the Ponderosa Stomp has live performances with Barb Lynn and other legends... but the old days, the honky tonks were the place to be.

Nobody was playing 45s. We were witnessing the live musicians in small honky tonk venues.

I've seen Ray Charles, Percy Sledge and many legends perform live.

The vinyl is nice, but you should have seen the real deal.

:lol: I'm sure you don't realise it but you couldn't have picked a more inappropriate place to randomly post this if you'd tried.
