First time for us at The Prince of Wales and Southport, thoroughly enjoyed the whole package. It was great to see someone or team have negotiated a superb bar price for the drinks, in fact they were cheaper than my local club rather than the extortionate prices one is accustomed to at a venue of this stature. Pics of your mugshots and of the night will follow shortly in photos and as usual ENJOY! see you out and about and on that floor Mandy & Alan.

What a day, cracking venue, dj's, sounds, and crowd. Lots of money raised for a very worthy charity. Hats off :hatsoff2:to everyone involved in organising the day. Awesome!

Definitely worth the 200 mile drive from Scotland, roll on next years.

Finally, a call out to Steve French, Tony Monaghan, Malcolm Hegarty, Pete Breach and Vinnie. You guys all made me so welcome.

I would like to thank all the soulies that came to The Soulchoons Charity Alldayer event at The Prince Of Wales Hotel, Southport. Last Sunday. Over £4000 raised for charity. I'm so proud and have bags of respect for my fellow soulies. It was  a fantastic day from the start, and never let up to the end. All the DJs played a massive part of that, but as they say it take two to tango. So without people coming through the doors you don't have a soul event. I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart, for making this day one of the best dayers so far at the Prince. Till we meet up again, keep Soulin. Rod Clegg.

thanks for the fantastic feedback from Steve & Karen and Alan & Mandy and

Dave 65 who came all the way from Scotland..  Hope to see you again. X

Rod - what are you planning for the third room? Ska? Reggae? Mod? RnB? I'm sure you wont have any problems finding DJ's but if you do need someone, I would be happy to be considered. See you in Jersey. (GreasyChipButty aka Jim Northernsoul)

Hi Jim, not decided yet on the third rooms music policy. Last year left it to the DJs, but didn't want them to play the same as the other rooms. Watch this space. See you in Jersey in Feb.

Just a quick update, one more top DJ to be added to the modern Room.

Steve Woomblea tried and tested DJ, that anyone who's been in the scene for any length of time would recognise his name. Nearly there now with all the info to go to press with the flyers. I'll try and keep up to date on here. Thanks for your support. Rod Clegg.
