Quick note from the promoter Alan Paterson...

Just a wee note to confirm that tickets are now on sale for the next GotG - Saturday September 17th.
Hi Folks,
Just a wee note to thank you all for attending on Saturday night, I really couldn't have hoped for much better!
Thanks to all our regulars who obviously recommend the night to those new faces who turn up each time. Apologies to those who had problems getting in but I can't emphasise the solution enough for a guaranteed entry ie get a ticket earlier!! I fear there'll come a night when every 'regular' shows thus closing the doors even earlier. With that; a big thanks to Harry Webster for working the door and helping to keep some sort of order.
Of course thanks to our guest jocks on the night TSM, Steve Aggisald and Greg Swinbourne who both kept things rockin' to the end, brilliant! And Andy 'dark horse' Hughes as always tee'd the whole night up perfectly.
For the next one, September 17th - see attached. Please note it's the return, one year on, of 'that funky kid' Andy Whitmore. And with a point to prove on 70's sounds I'm also pleased to announce the late addition of Steve Willox on the same bill.
See you all then but keep in touch ?
You could always catch some Northern spins on Saturday at the Holburn.
They must be short, I'm spinning!

Message from promoter Alan Paterson:-

Hi Folks,
Just a wee note to thank you all for turning up again to Groovin' on the Green on Saturday.
Everyone so far has complimented the night with our guest jocks Andy Whitmore & Steve Willox delivering with their great choice of sets. I'd also like to thank Steve for offering his particular stylus heads which definitely made a marked improvement on the sound. I'll be investing in my own ones for the next GotG which falls on a Friday this time December 30th.
There's a slight change in line up for that one. Although we've still got Ian 'Pepsi' Shepherd on, I've managed to secure Des Crombie as a fine replacement for the advertised Jock O'Conner who unfortunately has had to call off. You won't be disappointed!
With that, please note; I've secured Terry Jones as our guest dj for March 18th, 2017 therefore as you'd expect a faster sell out is expected for that one. Tickets will go on sale at the December gig on the 30th so please take advantage in order to avoid disappointment.
Anyway, thanks again and keep Groovin'!!
Alan Paterson.
ps Thanks as ever to our resident 'dark horse' Andy Hughes, great warm up again and Jessica on the door despite being poorly xx
