looking forward to seeing those Michael Flatley lightning fast feet John , and of course to seeing the always superb Keighley Okeh soul nights transfer to the seeside. Northern soul class with Burkey and the boys [superb set at Harrogate charity soul ]  and of course Modern soul quality from Mr Lodge and the crew. like a stick of rock with class written through it . Salford massive will be there .

just attended the Saturday night but was reliably informed by friends that the Friday sessions had been top class , both in the Northern room and in the Modern suite [ apparently an item of ladies underwear had been found in the Modern room ,so somebody was having a really good time ! ] first time at the carousel for me , and a great venue. big spacious , airy room for the Northern side of things , and nice snug room for the Modern take on things where I spent the lions share of my time . great variety of styles covered by the D.Js ,cos like Greg Perry said " variety is the spice of life"  Jonah , Russ ,Pete, Griff, Ian ,Maccy ,Andy and of course Lodgy did the job with great aplomb.  a great crowd and a great night
