Hi Yocky and Mandy

Yes really looking forward to seeing you both at the Wheel on Sunday.

Like your post says, and I know you love the club, and like I say it's not Whitworth      Street but its the nearest thing we have got to it!  And it's only a mile away from the original Club. It's in a dark 60's unique gritty basement Club, playing the Wheel music that people love, with a Fantastic Wheel following, and have done for the last 16 years.

See you all on Sunday in the Basement.

Best Regards

Pete.

Yes, really looking forward to seeing You and Mandy on Sunday at the Wheel.

Its gonna be a Packer as always!!

On a sadder note-

I know a lot of people will have read and seen on television today the inquests results of the brave Firefighter Stephen Hunt who sadly lost his life fighting a fire at the building which was the new home of the Twisted Wheel Club on Tibb Street in the Northern Quarter MANCHESTER City Centre.

Sadly Stephen lost his life in July 2013 and the week later the Twisted Wheel Club did a Charity Afternoon for Stephens family. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU again to you all for your Attendance, Time, and Generousity on the day!

We raised £3038.00 pounds in cash for Stephen family on the day, which I took down to the Fire Station the next day, and I know a lot of Wheelers sent Chq's direct to the Fire Station afterwards, with NO publicity.

When I took the cash in a shoe box the Fire Officer couldn't believe it! I said just give me a receipt for the money and we don't want any publicity. I told him that it would not be needed, and we did it for Stephens family, for a brave man who went out to work on that day and sadly he didn't return home.

The Fire Station said that it had been incredibly moved and we are extremely touched by such a heartfelt response by the members of Twisted Wheel Club!

And can I personally thank you all again, and I think it just shows what a good Club we have got and it says so much about the people who attend it .

Not forgetting Carl and Staff at Alter Ego.

Yours Sincerely

Pete Roberts.

Hi Yocky & Mandy

Nice to to see you both yesterday, and as always you did a great Dj set in both rooms, along with our other guest Dj Andy Scoffin from Crewe.

Alan & Pat, Kevin & Sue from The Corner Crew were the first at the door waiting for the Club to open. Along with all the other people who came!

it was a great Afternoon, nice to meet Martin who had come up from London again who told me that he had loved ever minute of the Twisted Wheel Club, and Martin said that he wished that he could do something like this in London , and that he had Dj'd at the 100 Club.  Great to talk to the man from Norway.

Not bad eh!  since we haven't got a car park!  But we have got everything else!

See you all next time on Sunday 24th April at the Wheel with BBC John Kane on the Decks who will also be joining us for his Birthday! ... Where else!

Thanks again.

Pete.
