We fancied somewhere new so decided to give it a whirl. Travelled from Derby so not too far away.

I know you had your fair share of students (that don't have enough money to get drunk) and others in the pub for the Craig Charles appearance (what time did he turn up in the end?) but overall we had a brilliant night. Music was outstanding as it was varied. The moment for me was when I said to the wife when a Hammond organ type record that I didn't know was just coming to its end, that Perry & The Harmonics would be perfect right now, and then ..... my compliments to the DJ.

Minor gripes were the floor but I was told it had recently been stripped (fortunately somebody had some talc) and the limited offering on the bar upstairs - there's more to life than lager! But a quick trip downstairs and there were some decent beers.

Definitely will be back.

Steve & Rowena
