Spirit Allnighter

It wer reet grand. The aircon was a blessing, the music excellent & the secret room a sauna, a lot of faces you know in passing & others your glad you passed on, a lot of faces even we don't know but plenty we do, you know nice polite, lovely people. We'll deffo be back and keeping ourselves to ourselves and enjoying it. Well done Dave.

Probably the most unusual soul venue we've been to with a great sound system and air conditioning in the main room which was welcome on such a hot night. Shame that recent tragic events at the venue cut short the night because we heard some cracking tunes from everyone, great to hear so many new records - long may it continue.  We followed Soul Sam downstairs for an hour but couldn't take the heat down there for longer.  A number of people asked them to put the air conditioning on but it didn't happen sadly.  Apart from that  no complaints, thanks for a good night.

On the downside - air-con was a bit fierce and security lighting too bright (which as I know can kill atmosphere).

Looked like everyone enjoyed the exceptional music. Well done Dave, look forward to the next one!

It's been a trying time to say the least with the venue, loss of three hours off the end, struggling to find dates for this year. So it was with a little trepidation that we open the doors at 8PM last night. 
Do people like it enough to support it with the new hours ?
Will people pitch up with so much on and holidays ?
How will the club management be after recent events ?
Well no need to worry, people are really loyal to the event, good turn out right at the height of the holiday season. People came from 8 sharp and went straight to the dance floor and stayed there till the end. The 'Secret Room' was well received again and Leona Murphy did a sterling job on her first appearance.
The clubs management are so pleased we have stuck with them, with our event. A few niggles on the night, the new emergency lighting imposed after a recent Health & Safety visit is a bit intrusive, but they said they will try and work on that.
On the up side, great loyal turnout, bunch of new faces, happy people, cool diverse music, THE BEST sound system in the country. Be back in September for the last one of the year, gonna be a packer and a stunning array of DJ's.
