Two Bank Holiday weekends in one month? We're planning to kick off the fun on the Friday night with some more special guests and great tunes.
We had a great time last month with Gavin and Eddie from Bethnal Green's No More Tears as our guest spinners. And Paolo Hewittdropped by to do a turn behind the decks too. This month we have two visitors from the North West, Jake and Carole Cheshire. They are regular DJs in their local area and this is not the first time they have played further afield, including at Greenock's Pineapple Soul Club. Expect a double-deck session of Northern Soul, crossover and rare Motown all on original vinyl.
In the meantime you can be sure that the TSWI regulars Andrea, Ben, Sarina and Richard will be playing a mix of highly danceable sixties Soul, Motown, RnB and a pinch of funk.
