Soul Nights Bridgwater

Another great nite , many thanks to Pete, Cathy and all for putting this event one. Always great to be welcomed by Cathy & Ange on the door. The Dj's did us proud. Ginger's spot, as always was amazing with records I can only dream of owning. Saltash Pete and Chris educated me with some great tunes, a good cross section of soul music through the years. Pete L as always delivered with some quality oldies and tunes I had never heard before. All the Dj's kept the floor busy. I was saddened to hear that the next Bridgwater will be the last, for the time being anyway! This event has always been special to me and many others and will be missed big time. The quality of the music over the years has been amazing, I have learnt so much! The main success of this venue and the previous venues has been the people who have run it, their personalities have brought happiness to so many on the south west soul scene- Thanks for the memories! Hopefully there will be more in the future- ktf x
