Just heard that Larry Calvert will make this his last ever 6ts djing event,Larry has been a wonderful personality on our local scene and was a driving force in keeping the muni going  when we were under threat of closure due to dwindling numbers.Larry can be proud to see crowds in excess of 200 regularly now,the local soul scene owes you its gratitude pal.Larry will be our first lifetime vip and he will continue to support us and attend the old muni,We have had good times and sad times Larry but always your love of soul shines through, love and best wishes Roman

Well This Will Be My Last 60s/Northern Dj Ing Night And I Guess After 50 Years Its Time To Move On Musically But My Heart Will Always Be At The Muni - It Looks And Still Feels Like It Was Made For A Northern Soul Night So Unless 70s / Philly & Motown And Modern Come In Vogue This Is My Last And What Better Way Than Spending My Night With Good Friends - I Will Still Be At The Muni Next Year And As Always If Needed Will Be There For Whatever Is Wanted Doing
