Upfront @ the Horse and Jockey is a monthly rare soul night in the Doncaster town centre 2 mins from railway and bus station.
The venue - Back room in the Horse and Jockey pub, small compact venue with a great dancefloor, top class equipment & good cheap beer
Music policy - Is no top 500 oldies, all records are on original vinyl from your £5ers to the thousand £ plus rarities
DJ's - Regulars Waggy, Rob Croskell & John Baxter plus monthly guests.
Great story behind this months guests and myself, we all went to secondary school together (Don Valley High school, Doncaster} we have all dj'ed from the 70's but we have never dj'ed on the same stage same night so this is it. After much coaxing I have managed to get 'SAUS' out of retirement, 1st time he has dj'ed in 10 years & 'JOHN PHILLIPS' on his annual summer holiday from Oz
Time 8.00pm till 1.00am
Admission ITS ALL FREE just come along and enjoy a guaranteed good night
