We've been struggling to think how we could match last month's wonderful The State We're In special with Stuart Cosgrove talking about his new book, Young Soul Rebels, and playing a storming set of rare soul from his personal collection. The Pack & Carriage was packed and we danced into the small hours.
So, this month we are going for another TSWI first with an all female line up of DJs playing a mix of highly danceable sixties Soul, Motown, RnB and just a pinch of funk.
Our TSWI regulars Les Petits Feet and Andrea will be joined by two special guests, Lucienne Colefrom the ever-popular Crawdaddy! andClaire "Shoes" Russell, a regular at Soul nights up and down the country with her special mix of Soul, Rn'B and Popcorn.
