Thanks Steve for your review. Fridge magnet on it's way.

Big thanks from me, Linda, Wayne and Andy to all who turned up and danced away the night.

We finally got enough chairs for everyone. Big thanks to Vinny Thompson at the club for all his hard work and to Tony and the bar staff for their hard work. It was a very busy night for them and sorry for the cock up about the time for last orders.

At the next event we will be reconfiguring the room to create more space for dancing and seating.

I'm also going to increase the wattage with more speakers, so those at the far end near the bar still get to hear the music.

Didn't play all requests but have remembered a few for next time when we will play a bit more northern, twisted wheel tunes etc.

It was a hive of activity  Saturday morning when we went to pick DJ equipment up with about 500 kids playing football. FCUM is a great concept with an ethos of a non profit making organisation with its roots in the local community

A pleasure being in partnership with them

Next event will be publicised soon, watch this space!

Vance

What can I say .. vance ,shed,Andy & linda pulled out all the stops from classic soul to a few northern tunes it was a packer to say the least and what a venue to be surpassed I doubt it unfortunately it's a football club that is the offspring of some other Manchester club name has eluded me at the mo but it was all about the music and atmosphere which all four of them did immensely here's to the next one if you missed this DON'T miss the next one ... stevie
