The Northern Line

Hi Folks,

This year’s just whizzing by...I can’t believe we’re halfway through August already and it’ll soon be time for The Northern Line’s August event on Saturday 27^th August.

Whilst our August event always seems to clash with the Bank Holiday weekend we’ve always been blessed with solid attendances, so hopefully this time will be no exception. 

Our special guest DJ is one the North West’s most well known and prolific DJ’s, Mr Pete Eccles.  Pete’s in massive demand and is a regular DJ at both soul nights and all-nighters with his most recent residency having been the Swinton ‘nighter.  Pete’s also a regular on Soul Over Easy’s DJ roster and as such you may have heard him at one of his many appearances at The Parr Hall in Warrington.

Pete was a long-standing friend of Biff’s so it may be difficult for Pete to grace the decks for us, but I’m sure he’ll do us, and his old buddy, “proud”.  Getting behind those decks isn’t getting any easier with John not being there in person...though I’m convinced he’s there in spirit.

Ben, Moz and I will be the support act and don’t forget to get there early if you want to hear just how good young Ben’s turning out to be as he starts the night with the 7:30 – 8:30 slot.  Plus, if you want the option of a table, and a seat to rest legs that will be weary from dancing, then do try to get in early...after Pete’s spot you’re going to need to take a breather and pop some cream on the blisters you’ll have developed!

We do hope that you can attend on Saturday 27^th August and we are grateful for the support you continue to give us.

Only just seen this Chris, very well put as always and yes I'm looking forward to next Saturday with bitter/sweet anticipation, 

As you have said we will all try to deliver the quality that The Northern Line and it's residents have become well repected for, whilst keeping the big fella very much in our minds, 

I will play some tunes with John very much in mind and I'm sure it will be another great night all things considered.
