This is gonna be a belter 10 hours of soul with a great line up of djs put it in your calendar see ya there peeps 

Well, with just over 3 weeks to go the vibe is growing nicely. My great friend Swish has been added to the DJ line up.We are looking forward to a superb day.

A big thank you to the DJs who have made 2016 such a success at the Corner House.

A huge thanks to the Soul Family who have turned up in great numbers....you make it special!!

So we hope you come and join us On New Years Day 2017 to celebrate the next chapter in our adventure together.

It's been a pleasure to have been onboard from day one great venue top djs good staff and of course it wouldn't be no good with out you the people who come see you all on New Year's Day 

It's going to be a purely Soulful day. A strict door policy will be in place to ensure that only our Northern Soul fraternity are allowed entry.

We're so looking forward to January1st 2017.

Yes the corner house great venue at the bottom end of town thanks to Dim & Steve Studge for getting it going on the sunday sessions,looking forward to djing again with my old partner in crime from the Swan Sherwood Rooms from bak in the early 1970ts Mr Deryke Banner hoping to spin a few old tunes that used to grace the floor from our Saturday Night pilgrimage to Wigan Casino,& other venues

Out of "retirement" for this, with the legendary Mr Kingswood & I just can't wait. I suppose the easy bit is spinning the records. The hard part is picking the sounds! So, so many to choose from. However, I'll stick by my principles from those early days & there'll be plenty of 100mph'ers. Sounds that used to absolutely pack the floors, though I doubt they will these days, not with the age of most of us. If they do get the floor bouncing, then here's hoping they've got a good supply of knee & hip joints at Kings Mill Hospital..

Here's hoping it's another fantastic day, like all the others have been. A great venue, superb DJ's, playing PURE Northern all day, hard working bar staff, serving great (Cheapish) beer & mostly importantly, a fantastic crowd!!!

Thanks Damian yes me and Mr Banner Forest Town old boys decking together again yes you got to play condition red remember the day you went and bought it from Brian 45 Phillips from Manchester ive not got many of my BIG tunes now left from the swan days bet youve got a few so we will hit them with some stompers cant wait cu all there on NYD 

I've got most of what we used to play, so we'll be fine Phil. Some will have been over-played over the years, but they've got to have a spin if we're going to re-live those days again. Probably some I wouldn't play these days, but what the hell. Let's turn the clock back mate!!! Can't wait!!!....Bring it on!!!

Another fantastic day of music and people. Hope the next one is not to far away.

Wow!!!!!!! What a fantastic event. Absolutely rammed full & a great time was had by all. I seriously doubt yesterday could ever be beaten again. The crowd, the music, the atmosphere, surely couldn't be bettered? I thoroughly enjoyed every minute being back on the decks, with my old sparring partner Phil Kingswood, playing the massive sounds that proved so popular back in the early 70's. It took me back to the days in the Swan, Mr M's, Samantha's etc etc etc. For those who didn't get there, you missed a BELTER of a day. Roll on the next one!!!
