About The Event
Our eighth event and we're really gratified that the word is spreading and we're getting more and more like-minded people coming down the stairs. Thanks to everyone who's supported us - it really is appreciated. Our special guest this month is Bob Smith - a man with great records and the innate taste to deploy them to their fullest soulful extent. Should be mighty!
If you've not been - the Betsey Trotwood is a relaxed venue with great food and reasonably priced drinks. Expect anything and everything soulful from tear-stained ballads to top quality dancefloor movers with just about everything in between from all eras. It just works! The early doors mini-spots of Sweet and Deep Soul are beginning to get a cult following.
No Arthur Mullard records as yet - but we came very close last month! ;-)
