Thank you Larry,so 19 years of soul in West Craven and once again a group of the original lads get together to rock Barlik,starting at the Ooze Roman and Mike Kemp are still together joined with Richard Lodge the 3am 7ts mentor,also from that first one guest Ginger Taylor completess the original line up, finally top dj collector Shaun Fitton to make this a line up to savour.free cd,tracks from the djs collections. Always a busy night join us and see why some events have run for such a length of time,quality counts.large dancefloor,room holds 300,secure Rolls Royce patrolled car parks. Wether you were at a the Ooze, Hearts of Albion or Rolls or are new to us ,welcome,Roman 

The last 3 events of the year are traditional  nights in that they are same line up year on year.October is the anniversary,  November is music of the clubs with guest Larry Calvert,November26th,spins of the Wheel,Torch,Wigan,Birdtrap,Highland room etc.a big dance night.December is the very busy Xmas special on December 27th with guest Ginger Taylor, we pioneered soul just after Xmas in the area as well as New years soul at the Kierby park hotel.Our soul crowd is made up of 50/50 Lancs,Yorks with visitors from further afield,these last 3 of the year are Saturday events.

Some remembered Times! Richard Searling visiting the club around 97 for an alldayer (the Les Cockell tribute)and reviewing it on Smooth fm the following week,Tim Brown playing tunes that were to become massive when he did soul review for a time at Ooze and then Hearts of Albion. Ginger judging the pie tasting competition at the alldayer.The commitee at the Ooze calling me in to bollock me for putting half niter on the flyer when they only had a licence till 11pm, we always finished about 4am those days.Dave Moore of Hitsville soul trying to get  in  through the skylight late one night,he didn't know all he had to do was ring a bell and we would open the door.

I said that last 3 of the year are Saturday events,got that wrong December is Tuesday, in 2017 we will be going to last Saturday of the month,celebrating our 20th anniversary year.

 wow 19 years is a wonderful achievement and in this era where weekenders seem to be a focal point for soulies even more so. but of course quality counts for a lot and the boys on this flyer just ooze class [ no pun intended ] cut these lads and they probably bleed Black American vinyl [ and in Lodgies case a percentage of ale in the mix ] . seems appropriate that the venue is the Rolls Royce club and nice to see Lodgy playing a Northern set ,thought he'd been seduced by the dark side. [modern] will be a packer!

I know it's Halloween and that time when things go bump in the night , and you're not far from the Pendle witches but can't really see the spirits affecting Lodgy [apart from those in a funny shaped bottle ! ]  might be worth having a few cloves of garlic handy Roman . will be a great night.
