About The Event

The next Sink Soul Club takes place on Sunday 18th December--if you've never been to this brilliant club you don't know what you are missing!

A legendary 60s venue, the Sink Soul Club is one of the very few remaining original basement clubs in the North West. An iconic, atmospheric place awaits you as you step through the doors and descend the staircase to the cellar club below--and when you hear the music it will really blow you away!

An authentic 60s mod club playlist with a superb mix of sounds including club & northern soul, R&B, Jamaican rocksteady and bluebeat, rare Motown, skinhead reggae, British Beat and more--soulful sounds in the heart of the city on a Sunday afternoon.

Our Xmas extravaganza takes place the very week before Christmas, since the Sink Soul Club reopened its doors last year it has gone from strength to strength with packed out events each time. So make sure you arrive early for this one as it is sure to be a packer.

The event will run from 3pm--10pm with resident DJs Stan Evans, Pete Everett, Dennis Haw and Tony Brookes and possibly a guest DJ tba. Entry us just £5 on the door.

The Sink Soul Club is located in the basement of the Magnet Bar, 45 Hardman Street, Liverpool L1 9AS.

Dates for 2017 are:

Sunday 19th February

Sunday 16th April

Sunday 18th June

Sunday 20th August

Sunday 15th October

Sunday 17th December

What a brilliant afternoon / evening and long may they last. It's the people who turn up that make the Sink what it is, we just do our best to give them something good to dance to, be it Soul, R&B, Beat Ballads, Blue-eyed Soul, Reggae, Ska, etc.
I'm looking forward to 19th February in 2017 already.

What an amazing day in the Sink Soul Cellar yesterday, our busiest event yet----absolutely rammed!

Loads of dancefloor action from early on and some top sounds all afternoon--where else can you hear such a mix of tunes in the North West and in an original legendary 60s basement club?

Thanks to everyone for their support at the Sink Soul Club throughout the last 18 months, it's been absolutely brilliant. The Sink must now rate as one of the top Sunday afternoon events anywhere, it just seems to get better every time.

So from all of us at the Sink--myself, Lisa, Stan, Mae, Dennis, Pete and Suzie--we would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a brilliant New Year. Hope to see you all at the first Sink of 2017 on Sunday 19th February!
