About The Event
MODIFIED IBIZA 2017 will again be spinning records over 5 nights after the great success of May 2016. The dates next year are 19th - 23rd May and the action begins at 9.30pm till 4am every night. We have 10 Djs from the UK and Spain playing Northern Oldies, Classics, Rare and Modern, Motown, Ska, 60s British Label Mod Classics and R&b treasures all on vinyl. Our Djs are on rotation to give you an eclectic mix of top sounds and the BN3 Club offers a great floor, superb sound system and large terrace. A 5 euro wristband gives you discount drinks on lager and local mixers all night every night and includes entrance and a free poster for the time you are here.
Most people who attend this week of music book again, many stay at the Playa Bella Hotel which is opposite the venue and right on the beach, the hotel is owned by a British family and everyone gets well looked after. Most of our guests go via a package so check out Jet 2 prices from around the North of England and Scotland, others pay for a return flight of around 150.00 euros with Ryanair via East Mids and then contact me for hotel prices, an example of the Playa Bella room only prices are 1 bed sleeps 3 persons 42.00 euros per night for the room not per person, we can also arrange transfers to and from the airport.
This is a venue that is growing in popularity with very friendly like minded folk of all ages attending across the board, soulies, scooterists, mods etc. Our Djs are unrestricted in what they decide to play and attend all nights thereby not duplicating any vinyl and the list is as follows Steve Brown- Promoter & Dj at Walsall Wood All Nighters, Carlos Cazorla Dj and owner of Scooter Up clothing and merchandise from Barcelona, Michael Taylor - Promoter and Dj of the Altringham Soul Club, Dj at the Alternative Skegness Weekender, Rugby All Nighters and Manchester Soul Festival, Ian Turner - DJ at Music mania weekender Worthing, Portsmouth Soul Club venues in and Djing around Southsea and Southampton, Dave Grimshaw - Promoter and Dj at Club Peel venues, Shindig On The Water, Djing at Newquay Music festival, Chill at the Mill and Run to the Scum Scooter Rally, Ian Hurford a Dj owns and plays a fantastic set of British Mod, R&b,Latin Ska and Jazz vinyl at venues such as Get Loaded, The Night Train, Ricky Tic and The Happening, Pedro Pablo - Dj and entrepreneur who brings his own style of Northern/ Mod vinyl from the venues of Madrid, Dianne and Carol team up together for their Modern Soul sets and have played at Music Mania weekender Worthing and Walsall Woods Allnighters and finally yours truly who now plays at BN3, Ibiza Rocks Rooftop Nine and Cafe Del Mar.
