Kings Hall Stoke All Nighter 21 Years

Totally agree with you Mustang on the music front, although I had no problem with the floor myself.

You mention playlists. Where are these posted as it would be good to know if we were having an hour’s dancing or an hour at the bar.

Stoke is a terrific venue, ousting with atmosphere. Just a pity that some DJs  get bogged down with obscure stuff when really the classics are key. This is so obvious when you look at the dance floor. If this was ‘back in the day’ and we were all 18, of course we would think the opposite.

A good night at Stoke,it

was generally quiet all round.

Found the music a bit up and

down,my mate and myself

counted approximately ten

tracks that had already been

played by previous DJ's.

Thanks to all the DJ's,but

Andy Dyson and Mick H did

it for me,had to leave at 4:30

so missed Jordan's spot,which

from his playlist would of done

it for me also.

One thing that has been raised

with Kev Roberts was the state

of the dancefloor,it was very

hard work,it was sticky and no

glide at all,to be honest it wasn't

fit for purpose.The dancefloor is

Just as important as the DJ kit,

a full inspection is required the

day before to allow the correct

treatment to be applied.

Found out that a boxing

tournament was held the night

before, obviously no cleaning

or polishing had taken place.

A good night at the Kings H.

A little bit down on numbers but its close to Christmas so  perhaps to be expected.

Good sets from all the DJs but one set stood out for me....Andy Dyson a dancers delight ...100mph all the way!
