Not long to go now, for our 2nd Soul Session of 2017.

In this Unique 60's Basement Cellar Club!

What makes me laugh is the people that are saying its not the Twisted Wheel at Whitworth Street?

How can it be? They know it closed in December 2012 and was pulled down in 2013 to make way for another Manchester Hotel? ... And NO not my choice!

If it hadn't we would still be there, don't they think that I and 100's of others still wish that we were still at 6. Whitworth Street. But we haven't, and this Legendary Manchester "TWISTED WHEEL CLUB" still lives on at this FANTASTIC 60's Club that we have got!

And I don't think a lot of the people, who are doing soul do's now, would be doing them without hearing about and seeing the success of the Twisted Wheel Club in Manchester, the Club and City that started at all.

Not long to go now for our  2nd instalment of Soul, RnB & Motown, we just do what we do best, and have been doing so for nearly 17 fantastic years!

I spoke to our guest Deejay Andy Scoffin today and he is really looking forward to it. Andy will be doing 2 spots for us, an hour in each of the 2 Rooms and as sorted his records out for both, Wheel Classics for the main room and across the board music for room "2" Northern Soul, Mod, Ska & Philly for you!

Have I got a Great Deejay line up for you this year.

See you all on Sunday.

Not long to go now, for our next Sunday Soul Session at the Club that started it all.

NO TRICKS - NO FREE CDs - NO BACK SLAPPING - NO BEGGING ON FACEBOOK

We just do what it says on our Flyers, and have been doing very well for 17 years.

See you all tomorrow for another fantastic time at the Wheel.

To the same Old, same Old Bitter print man, Denton van hire & the famous Johnny Northern?

Johnny Northern what do you know about Soul music? Have you forgot it wasn't that long ago that you said to me "Pete if you have got any doubles (records) would you give them to me"?

Denton van  & Co, you keep playing records in the Labour Club and the Free Pubs with nobody in.

And the same Old same Old prints!  Its funny how you now call the Club where you are not wanted, and its funny how you would call it the Wheel when you were selling plenty of prints there, and you called it The Twisted Wheel Club then?

We say on our Flyers its The Twisted Wheel Club at Alter Ego on Princess Street.

Where am I NOT BEING HONEST there!...

And why shouldn't we call it the Twisted Wheel Club because if I didn't then somebody else would, I'm sure of that. Everybody knows The Twisted Wheel on Whitworth Street closed its doors in 1971. And the Wheel was Dead and Buried till I reopened it in 2000 and it was enjoyed by 1000's and it wasn't my fault that it was pulled down in 2012 and we had to move.

Johnny Northern - you say that I don't own the NAME or the Music, your right! And I have NEVER said have I?

You say that every club in the country is playing Wheel records every weekend now! I wonder why?

Before I reopened the Wheel in 2000 it was all Wigan Casino on flyers with NO mention of the TWISTED WHEEL CLUB It's funny how things have changed now, even big name record dealers have thanked me for reopening The Wheel because they now get BIG MONEY for Wheel records.

You also say that I have had free meals everyday for the last 16 years living off the name of the Wheel, if only that was true. I pay for everything and pay my DJs well and The Twisted Wheel Club is a Business unlike a lot of others.

I will tell you what I have had everyday!.. Putting up with very jealous wanna-be's who wish that they had done what I have done very successfully.

Don't you just wish that you had a great Club!!...

And what ever I called it! it would still be full.

It's now 2am. and I am going to bed as I have got a busy Club to run tomorrow and I have had enough replying to this shite yet again.

They were awe struck with the vibe in the 21st century and are arranging to come again next year, says it all!!! here a pic of the chap who took the iconic pic way back then holding the pic he took lol Pete my phone no is 07810126177 or 01638 712172 hope to chat soon  One of our fav TW Djs guesting today Andy Scoffin, so wish we could make it enjoy mates xxx

as long as they play wheel-music,the-name is fine by me; the-wheel was far-more, than bricks and mortar;
although there is an-argument for the [triggers-broome] style of thinking, trigger still had his original-broome.

Its like The Kings New Clothes! Everyone can see its a gay club called Alter Ego except Real Name.
Does he know nothing about trade description.
Playing Wheel Music? Every club in the country plays it every weekend.
Time to be honest Real Name, you have had a free meal every day for 16 years living off the name of the Wheel yet slag every
other club off for innocently using it.
You do not own the name or the music or the memories. It's a club that plays wheel music just like any other.
You do not own the name so stop making out you do!
Stop having snide remarks at other venues it only makes you look bitter & twisted or is your ego over inflated.

TWISTED WHEEL CLUB ACCOUNTS

Sorry Derek I did try to phone you last week and got no answer, just to let you know that I have been very busy with one thing or another, but the main thing was preparing my end of year "Twisted Wheel Clubs" Accounts to send to my Accountants by Friday because as you know if your Accounts go in late I would be libel for a £100 fine from the Inland Revenue.

You missed another Belter yesterday! And we are looking forward to seeing you and the Cambridge Crew when you next come up to the Wheel and you pull up in a coach!

A Big thanks to you all who attended yesterday, it was Fantastic as always and it was great to see so many from the Blackpool Soul Club again,

A Big Shout must go out to our guest Deejay Andy Scoffin from Crewe, who did TWO Fantastic Dj Spots for us, along with John Green and Jock Heron.

Thanks to Alan Derby for your kind comments, along with Pat, Kevin and Sue, part of the "Original Corner Crew" and have supported The Twisted Wheel Club now for nearly 17 years with NO complaints about the Clubs Name along with Big Brett and the 100's of others who come to The Twisted Wheel Club.

Talking of which I see the person who stirred all the Shite Again!  As removed all the post off his facebook page?....Why.

Thanks Again.

Pete Roberts.
