Now into our 9th year at the same venue here in Peterborough - how time flies!

We are pleased to offer this night again as FREE entry, so if you are reading this and haven’t  been to 'Caliente' before then do come along and check it out - what have you got to loose!? - all we ask is that you come with open ears and an open mind – we are not playing top 500 all night - although you will hear a good number of ‘sensible quality oldies' throughout the night.

This time we have resident DJ’s Carl Fortnum and Mick Beeby - who is now by increasing popular demand playing some quality tunes later on as the night unfolds plus Russ and I. 

Russ and I usually kick the night off to warm things up from about 7pm for the first hour with a few new purchases/trades (which are in the main - 6t’s R&B plus some forgotten Northern) before we hand over to the guys playing right across the board.

I also suspect there are usually a couple of birthdays being celebrated so expect some cake!

Music policy: - we will all be playing a quality mix of Northern Soul from the 60’s through the 70’s/80’s and beyond, 6ts Soul + R&B, Crossover etc. - these will all be QUALITY tunes all played off ORIGINAL VINYL.

last caliente of 2017 next friday.....

after abit of soul searching i have decided to drop down the order and will be doing a 60s rhythm and soul set from my collection 8 - 9pm including a few forgotten oldies & instros.

Well soon be Friday and your  Xmas starts right here  a top night of quality soul from d.js willing to play that something bit different from forgotten oldies rare underplayed 60, so through crossover and modern  to rhythm and soul  always a top night with like minded people and the a great atmosphere .and it's free

There may be mince pies
