The Sink Soul Club Liverpool

Just a few weeks till the first Sink Soul Club of 2017!

Hope you can join us in the Cellar on Sunday 19th February at this original legendary 60s basement club in the heart of the city--unique playlist and very busy every time, the Sink Soul Club has become one of the leading Sunday afternoon soul venues in the North West!

I was talking to Stan Evans the other day about when he and Pat restarted the Sink all those years ago and we agreed that the Sink was probably one of the first--if not THE first--Sunday soul venues when the so-called revival kicked off.

So not only is the Sink in it's original 60s location but it was also one of the forerunners of the now popular Sunday Soul Scene--how good is that?!

I've been battling through a bout of Flu this last week plus we've had no heating or cooking facilities for two and a half days due to a minor 2 millibar gas leak inside the house, which British Gas are currently trying to trace and repair. BUT I'll be there Sunday, can't wait. At least it'll be nice and warm.

Just a day to go till the Sink Soul Cellar opens its doors once again, it's looking like another busy afternoon/early evening at this brilliant venue!

Quite a few new faces planning on coming over for this one apparently so make sure you arrive early and nab your fave spec!

What do you say to about the sink' myself and wanda haven't been for years.Its a DIVE? its the place your parents warned you about but you love it. the people are brill from mods to beatniks blues reggie soul if you carnt find it here at the sink STAY HOME. I've had the honour of spinning the tunes at the wheel in my time this place is up there' would l I go again into this timewarp love to. keep it coming boys. x
