Hi there,

Can anyone enlighten me on the music policy, D.j's room details. Been thinking of giving the place a visit. Old Skool Soulies we do attend the Alter Ego in Manchester quite regularly and my old friend Fran O'Brien has recommended this place.

Many thanks

In Advance.

Ian

Cheers for the info. A bit late for us to come to your next one as we would have to arrange to stop overnight but will make it to one this year. I like the idea of a time warp as my friend Fran who has lived through it all since the mid sixties keeps reminding me that todays Northern Soul records are "pop" records? LOL which I suppose he is correct in that they are failed pop records.

Thanks for the enquiry, the DJs are Stan Evans, Pete Everett, Dennis Haw and Tony Brookes.

Music policy is a mix of 60s club soul, rhythm & blues, Jamaican ska, bluebeat and rocksteady, northern soul, British Beat plus more--late 50s to very early 70s.

There is an upstairs bar and in the basement the main room with dancefloor and a chill out room--the "fish tank room." There are also another three bars downstairs.

Future dates for 2017 are:

Sunday 18th June

Sunday 20th August

Sunday 15th October

Sunday 17th December

Hope you can make it sometime!
