Well what a lovely 65th birthday surprise from my wife Janice. 2 days in Liverpool with a visit to this iconic basement club.

Looking forward to it, along with our Soul compatriots, Phil and Sue.

Brilliant, what a great way to celebrate your birthday! A trip to a top city and a visit to a legendary venue all in one weekend, what could be better? :D

Looking like another busy Sunday afternoon at the Sink Soul Club, not long to go now till the big day!

Dont forget to arrive early if you want a seat, see you there. :thumbsup:

You need to get there 10 to 15 minutes before 3pm to stand a chance of getting a seat, supply is limited and demand is great.
There is a 'Chill Out' area round the back, where you can still hear what's getting played, for further seats that don't get snapped up straight off.

Right, all records ready and packed for The Sink on Sunday, including a few I picked up in America over the previous three weeks. :thumbsup:
I hear the weather's going to be quite warm this weekend so sounds like it might be a hot one. :)
Get there early if you need a table and seat. Otherwise, there's the 'chill-out' area to the rear of the venue where you can chat and perhaps buy and sell a few records if you're of the collector persuasion.
I might have a small Sales box if I'm able to sort it in time. Failing that, Ian Dunning will be there with his amazing box of cheap and cheerful 45s. I say that with total respect as I've had a bargain or two from him over the years that I've not seen anywhere else since.

Everybody PLEASE NOTE, there are no trains into Lime Street over this weekend and the next few weeks whilst the station receives a bit of a refurb and an extra line installed. The trains will terminate at some point, Huyton I believe, whereupon a bus service into the City centre will take over. We hope this does not inconvenience you all too much but hope it will not put you off attending.

See you all Sunday. :thumbsup::thumbup:

Couple of tunes came through the letter box this week and can't wait to give them an outing tomorrow. See you there nice and early. :D

Nah, not me Pete. Stan might be a better person to ask as he and Mae do use taxis quite often.

Everything sorted for this afternoon, all set to make our way over to the 'Pool in a few hours!

Looking like it's going to be a busy one, if you want a table don't forget to arrive early as there is limited seating.

See you all later! :thumbsup:
