Brookesy 310 Posted December 12, 2017 Just five days to go now, the countdown has begun----Christmas kicks off with a bang on Sunday at the Sink Soul Club in Liverpool! Six hours of quality, tunes you won't hear anywhere else on Sunday mixed in with familiar tunes--60s soul, rhythm & blues, Jamaican sounds...... See you there! Link to comment
stowboy 117 Posted December 14, 2017 Just a note for all you vinyl collectors, Ian Dunning has said that God willing he''ll be at The Sink on Sunday with more records than you can shake a stick at ! Two boxes filled to overflow, ones his and the others a friends who he is selling for . The friends box will be open AFTER Ian's usual people have had there usual rummage in his own box (trust that's not the cricket type). The friends box is again filled to overflow with Stax Atlantic etc etc they are ALL 50p each or 12 for a fiver , all been washed but he can't guarantee the playing quality on a few of them . So when it's open it's first up best dressed , bring your dancing shoes & fat wallets. If you haven't been before, fair warning the que for the records isn't always orderly. 1 1 Link to comment
Stretfordender 203 Posted December 16, 2017 Pete, I will also be bringing a small sales box with a mixture of British/American R&B/Northern/Twisted Wheel Classics most original with a few reissues. Looking forward to the day. 1 1 Link to comment
Brookesy 310 Posted December 17, 2017 Apparently Mr Dunning is bringing around 700 records for sale today---blimey, there'll be a bit of a scrum going on in the fish tank room later! Just getting sorted for this afternoon, we'll be setting off in a couple of hours to get things set up for our 3pm start. See you all later, looking forward to another top afternoon at the Sink Soul Club. 1 Link to comment
