St Lukes Charity Alldayer 4th anniversary

This time of year comes that quick i can hardly believe it !!!:ohmy:

Here we go again with our annual Charity event, Them that have been before know

what a cracking day we have here down at Crewe, raising funds for our local Hospice

We are again keeping entry money to £5.00 and giving great value for money !!!:thumbsup:

This year we start at 1pm and go on to 11.30pm

In the main room this year we've got 10 DJs playing the best in Northern & Motown.

In room 2, we are having it as a club room- inviting DJs from different venues.

DJs for the main room are as follows-----

Keith Minshull --- Ex Torch and Wigan

Carl Piper---Mansfield

Moz Arnold---Northern Line Warrington

Pete Cogley---The Services Widnes

Rod Looker--- Ex Wigan/ Beechwood Soul Club

Mike Coburn---Moorlands Radio

John&Neil---Winnington Rec

Again another fantastic day/night a big thanks to Nige for letting me loose on the decks and a big thanks to all who attended...Well done Nige & Tina for a job well done...See you all next year here's hoping we can make it better if that's possible.......KTF.........

WOW, WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!!

People came again from far and wide to help us support our local hospice, travelling from all over, to make this day FANTASTIC.

A massive thanks to all the DJs who kept the floors in 3 rooms going all day, the bar staff who worked their socks off, Jonny & Sue who helped with the day and catering,The Morg soul nights for their sponsorship of the flyers,Ty for the use of his equipment, Mo for the CDs, and not forgetting EVERYBODY who came and supported us on the day.

A special thanks to Clive for the running of room 3, a chill out room that seemed to go down very well.

A big thumbs up and thanks to John Wilson from Backdrop records and Steve Jefferies /Rare soul man, for their donation of records for the raffle/ auction.

Now for the most important part, The cheque this year will be to the value of - - -

This makes the total for the 5 events run £19,670

A great day had by all I think & all for a good cause. Nige, Tina, Benn & Jess well done, fantastic organisation. The exposure The Morg got was well worth the donation & more than we expected. Can I take this opportunity to offer to sponsor your event next year.
