In Total 16 hours of Northern Soul in the Ballroom which has a comfortable ,capacity of 130 only and strictly limited.
Make no mistake this is a Northern Soul event ,motown in the main is restricted to our usual MBSB
The ballroom has a sprung maple strip dancefloor,it has its own bar and toilets.

In 1976 august bank holiday to be precise , a lineup of djs played over the road from the Fishpond just 100 yards away stands the Matlock Bath PAVILION
BECAUSE its the music and heritage that matters here , we have secured the country to locate 4 of these original DJS to play at our May event
For those of you from outside the area Matlock Bath and the surrounding area offers ample accomodation locally , with a premier inn available in Matlock 2miles away ,and lots of local B+Bs etc,along with the newly refurbed New Bath Hotel 10 minutes walk away.
Food is available at the Fishpond and there are numerous Eateries in Matlock Bath,dont miss the Fish n Chips.

Also for your listening pleasure during the day from 2pm downstairs in the bar area we are putting on FOC Djs from our teams lineup and beyond playing SOUL tunes OTHER THAN Northern Soul,they have been given a blank canvas.
Last but CERTAINLY NOT! least , JON MILLS will be HOSTING his style of music,chill out summer vibes jazzfunk etc outside on the very extensive terraces ,lets hope its HOT ! as we are sure the event will be.
