Hi Folks!

I'm so sorry for not posting sooner...I've been having problems with my laptop and in accessing the old interweb thingy following a system upgrade at work.  The cynic in me wonders if this is an attempt by the company to keep me on work-related sites only and stop me having fun!

Following the success of our first Northern Line of 2017 in January we're all looking forward to the next event which tales place this coming Saturday, the 25th February.

We've got some splendid guest DJs for you this year and the first two events have set the bar high with Dave Evison in January and with Keith Minshull being our extra special guest this month.

I hope that those of you that bagged an Anniversary CD last month have enjoyed listening to what we hope is a representative cross-section of current plays and records we have been plugging during the last 12 months.  For those of you who didn't get a copy, fret-ye-not as there will be a chance for you to make amends in January 2018 when it'll be our 8th Anniversary...

As usual, the advice is to arrive early if you want to bag a table, but more importantly to be able to hear Ban Moses' opening hour.  Ben has got talent in spades, he's not afraid to be bold with his choices and he's got great taste in soul records.  If you've not yet heard one of Ben's spots I'd urge you to arrive as early as possible on the night...you won't be disappointed.

Moz and I will try not to undo Ben's great work.

Stockport Soul clothing will be over on Saturday. Will be great to see you all and have a dance. Meeting up with some friends who are travelling over. We will also have some stock with us of our northern soul clothing range, Bags, Pegs, Skirts, Bowling shirts. vests ect please ask and we will try to sort out your requirements for you.
