To celebrate a year of Tuff Love, we're throwing a big 1st Birthday Bash in the club upstairs at Buyers Club and it's going to be a beast so tell your mam, your dad, grandad and granny, your next door neighbour and your auntie fanny!

Those that have been to Tuff Love previously will know that we usually ply our trade in the bar downstairs and have had so many memorable nights there already. However, earlier in the year we threw a club night with John Manship, Peter Bleasdale & Pat Bleasdale and it went down a storm, facilitated by the quality of the DJ's and backed up by the stunning soundsystem and venue. The 1st Birthday Bash is going to be in the club and it's going to be BIG.

Staying true to our No Holds Barred ethos we've put together a notorious team of selectors that will guarantee to blow the roof off the place. So without further ado, let's introduce the heads we've booked.

James Pogson (Symphonical Records, LDN / Reel To Reel, BCN)

First on the hit-list is the 'boogie monster', Mr. James Pogson. When you run one of the most highly regarded parties in London (Inner City Soul) and you do the same in Barcelona (Reel To Reel) and manage your own record label (Symphonical Records), it's safe to say you're doing an half decent job at this music thing and James certainly is. But, the main Reason we've roped James in is for his position on the precipice of so many facets of soul music, whether it be dancefloor material or slowies, the lad knows his onions.

Edu Domingo (Movin' On, BCN)

Bringing a massive swathe of Catalan spirit and soul to Liverpool, one of the key figures behind Barcelona beast, Movin' On and international jet-setting soul man, Eduardo Domingo. I can't express in words just how lucky we are to have this fella come over to entertain us with his own brand of no holds barred soul music to suit our remit exactly. We're super excited to let Edu loose on the Buyers Club soundsystem and to hear some of his choices in such clarity promises to be a real pleasure. The perfect Tuff Love birthday present!

Pat Bleasdale (Liverpool)

Those who saw Pat tear the place apart at our last club night will testify that it would have been a travesty if we hadn't got Pat back for this. A true queen of soul, someone who has been playing at A LOT of the best events acorss europe and has dancefloor bombs for days - Pat is truely not to be missed! 

So that completes the 'holy-trinity' of guest DJ's. Our residents Flanny, Ryan Wilson and Liam Flanders will be the glue holding it all together and it's going to be a memorable night but please don't take my word for it, get down to Buyers Club, Liverpool on Friday the 25th of August

ACCOMODATION

For those coming from out of town or even abroad, I would advise booking accomodation early as it can book up notoriously quickly in Liverpool as a result of a massive increase in tourism. It's also a bank holiday weekend so what better reason for a cheeky stop over?
