The Northern Line Tribute To Biff Guest Dj Gigs

Just a quick note to reiterate Moz's comments and to thank Gigsy for a superb 'spot'.

The attendance was impressive, so "thank-you" for all of you who were able to lend your support to our tribute for our dear friend John 'Biff' Griffiths.  I can't believe how quickly the last year has passed since we lost John.  I hope that he would have been pleased with the night and the selection of tunes we played in his memory.

I can't pretend that it wasn't a sad night for many of us; it was.  However the support you gave, the fullness of the dance-floor, and that most people stayed right until the last record was spun, really did help us get through the night.

As ever Gigsy did us and John proud, with a packed floor for almost the entirety of his set.  Based on merit Gigsy is a regular fixture and a firm favourite in our guest DJ roster and we look forward to welcoming him back as we plan our guest DJ lists in the forthcoming years.

As Moz mentioned we have one of Biff's oldest and closest buddies guesting for us on 27th May, and we'd be delighted if you could lend similar support to Peter 'Cog' Cogley.

What a very enjoyable evening at the Northern Line,thanks once again to Moz and Chris for a great night I think John would be very proud of you both,this venue seems to be going from strength to strength every time I attend.

A chilly night outside but extra fans were needed on the inside as it got hot and sweaty the humidity levels were very high lucky you had them handy guys,on another note a young dj to watch for is young Ben he played a great set so if you like your oldies you've got to give this one a try

I just want to thank everyone who came to the Northern line last night and supported our tribute to Biff, people came from all over which made for a very busy night, a big thank you goes out to our guest dj Gigsy what a spot he did for us fantastic, he had a full dance floor through out his set we're definitely going to bring him back again, well we hope to see you all again next month Saturday May 27th when our guest dj is Peter Cogley from Widnes ktf moz & cheryl
