About The Event
We are back!! After the untimely closure of the Horse & Jockey, we finally have two dates confirmed for Back To The Roots at the Catholic Club. These are 29th July and 30th September. Those who came to our event in March will know that this is a superb venue, and we are really looking forward to playing regular events there. The format will be the same, with the authentic Rhythm & Blues sounds of the 50s and 60s, supplemented with early soul, ska and anything else that fits the bill. We will only play original vinyl, so no boots, CDs or MP3s, just authentic recordings. Our residents list now includes Steve Mank, another Doncaster lad with a cracking collection. To confirm, that's the Catholic Club, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BY, and entrance is FREE. We hope we'll see you all there. :-)
