Spiders Web Charity Tribute Alldayer To Ray Parker

Only just seen this which is a great shame as we would have loved to be there . Ray (along with George) always made our visits to the (original) Spiders Web rather special . A wonderful man with a sense of humour , great DJ , collector .

very honoured to be asked to dj for rays tribute all dayer tomorrow ......ray was a very trusted and loyal friend and collector in the early days in carlisle .he was very keen as a young lad and i was privileged to help ray collect his tunes in his early years ...we remained  great friends through his travels and collecting....just a lovely lad with great taste in soul tunes ....everyone who knew ray will have their own  fond memories of him. and its a fantastic effort from george and the team to get together to remember ray .make no mistake it will be emotional. for myself and everyone involved  ...but every one attending tomorrow can take satisfaction that its what ray would have wanted ......
