So, as we move further into 2017 and as part of the 21st Anniversary year celebrations of soul at LOWTON CIVIC HALL, we bring you a series of special events. Simply entitled; LEGENDS, these nights showcase the music from some of the clubs that shaped our scene, played by the original DJ’s from those clubs. The special guests will be supported by DJ’s who have kept the flag flying at LOWTON over the years and featuring some of the great music that have helped LOWTON stake its own place on the scene.

Our next LEGENDS night is on FRIDAY JULY 14th and features a DJ who's name has been synominous with the North West Soul scene since before it was Christened 'Northern Soul', Brian Rae, 'Mr Northern Soul'

Over the past year Brian has been absent from the circuit due to illness but he is back 'on the road' and we are delighted to secure his DJing services for the next of our popular LEGENDS of SOUL sessions at LOWTON CIVIC HALL.

The night runs from 8pm till 1.30am and Brian will be showcasing the tunes from the clubs he's been accociated with over the years

Join us for what was, one of the best soul nights in the North West sharing memories with Brain and an appreciative, LOWTON audience.

Brian is joined by regular LOWTON DJ's Bob Hinsley, Kev Murphy, Baz Maleady and Rob Haigh
