Carl Piperkingsway Hallits Where Its Atforest Town

Always worth the trip down to one of Carl Pipers nights. The music was spot on. Dance floor busy and temperature rising as the night went on. A hall that full of similar minded people, appreciating old school northern ... that's where it's at.

Firstly, thanks to Carl for the chance to DJ at Kingsway Hall again. It was a top night with dance floor action from the off. Due to the dodgy knee I'm unable to shake a leg at the moment, but was still hot as hell by the end. If you've not been, try the next one, but remember your dancing shoes.

Just a quick thank you to Carl for asking me to do a spot at Kingsway Hall on Saturday night - I absolutely loved it and more so to the dancers who made me feel really welcome it's you lot that make venues like this GREAT !

All i can say is....KWH is a treat of a night out....Leaves me crippled...but happy for days after, Worth it "HELL YEAH"  Awesome night cheers Carl & Val, Catch you soon.   Ray & Kim.

Well it certainly was " hot and sweaty" , a full house and it would have been hard to find any one that did not grace the dance floor. Three top jocks, messes Copley, Everett and Arnold who had the dancers exhausted. The night best summed up by Mr Piper thanking every one who had come from near and far at the end of the night, but actually it should be us the punters thanking you Carl and your helpers for putting on such a wonderful night. After one record a certain young man from Sheffield said to me " I'm sure that record wasn't as  fast as that when I was 18 " to which I replied " no it wasn't, it probably was a 78 but now it's a 331/3  ".
