Yes, another terrific session.

Stoke always delivers.

Blackpool Tower the next big one for us but some excellent small venues to do before then. Namely, Brighouse, The Wheel and Stafford.

 Incidently, I believe there is another All Dayer at Stoke in June with the next All Nighter in July.

Can’t get enough. Been on the scene for over 50 years but I think it might be true to say that we’re “ living for the weekend” more now than when we 17

Legendary venue, perhaps the best known today and attracts crowds from far and wide. The building itself is incredible as is the setting opposite the church and war memorial. The interior is grand and imposing and generally well maintained, big sprung wood dance floor and the atmosphere is amazing, the all dayer format 5pm-2am is a bit disconcerting with bright sunlight and heat outside but once I got used to it it was fine. Drinks are a bit steep and the pricing seemed a bit random, food was not the best but that's not the reason for going really; will try the nice looking pub next door next time. Great DJ's in the main room including a fantastic set from Hitsville Chalky, the other room was very Modern soul every time I went in, not at all to my taste but good to have the contrast. Well worth experiencing this place, will have to try the all-nighter next.
