only 5 days to go til this great night. our Guest DJ SPIV really is at the top of his game, he has the best tunes around, it's not just the tunes...it's how you play em also, with style, assurance, and the knowledge that these original 45's are like gold, both in their scarceness and in their soulful musical quality. We play anything from late 60's crossover soul through to the present day, with an emphasis on the 70's mid-tempo soul with plenty of Philly style strings as well. If you're tired of hearing the same 100 records at your regular soul night, then you need a change, we guarantee to play something you have not heard, but it's not all rare for the sake of it. We also play tunes that were chart hits in the 70's or 80's that are worth an airing again. We stay clear of the 100 mph stompers, we leave that up to all the others to do. I cannot over emphasize the musical quality on offer at this night. Think I'm full, of B.S ? There's only one way to find out. This Saturday at 730pm.

Thanks to all that came along for another great Junction 28 Soul. Well I did try and tell you, The music was sublime, if I say so myself. Thanks to our Guest DJ SPIV, he makes it look so easy, I can assure that it's not. Also thanks to Glyn Williams for Dj ing for us, another great boat load of tunes, including Mario Biondi. We do it all again next month, Saturday August 26th when we will have Guest DJ Gareth Price all the the way from that there Yorkshire.. We hope to see you then.
