It was a big welcome back for Nige Brown, one of the stalwarts of the old WILLINGTON SOUL CLUB supporting the venue for many years, hopeully he will continue to due so. He played so cracking tracks  varying from £20 to thousands which kept the floor busy thanks for that Nige..  Our boys kept the rest of the night buzzin  on to next month with our special guest   LEE FLETCHER

See you all then   Bob & carole

Willington soul club is a fantastic event. The three resident DJs play an excellent across the board selection of soul grooves. Dance floor and sound system is faultless. It was a great evening until Nigel Brown started his set. The volume level in the room to that point, had been perfect. Nigel Brown comes on the tables and cranks the the volume up. So much so, that from the front to the middle of the room, where we sat, the music decame distorted and painful to the ear drums at certain points in the records. The sharp pains in my ears confirmed the levels to be dangerous as it easily exceed safe Db levels, even for such an event. I have no doubt people will be waking up this morning with ringing if not damage to their ears. Pointless stupidity on the decks, it wasn't music just painful noise.
